Iconic Chicken McNuggets celebrate its 40 anniversary

First introduced to the McDonald’s menu in 1983, they quickly became a crowd favorite. In addition to their unmistakable flavor, they are made with the best quality chicken breast meat and can be found in restaurants all over the world.

The famous chicken bites were created by McDonald’s Chef, René Arend, in the United States. A few years later, thanks to their success, they were introduced in the early 80’s as one of the main products of the restaurant in several countries around the world. Currently, more than 25 billion units are sold internationally every year and they are one of the favorite options of the Happy Meal.

The delicious Chicken McNuggets are made with 100% chicken breast meat, natural spices and other ingredients and contain no artificial flavorings or colorings. The white-meat chicken with which we prepare them is purchased from approved suppliers who adhere to our highest animal welfare and corporate social responsibility standards. In addition, we guarantee the highest food safety and quality standards at every stage of its preparation and cooking process. At the time of cooking in the restaurants, they are fried in first class vegetable oil for a rigorously controlled time and temperature, thus guaranteeing the appearance, texture and flavor that distinguishes them: juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. In line with our commitment to the circular economy, after being used, the oil is collected and transformed by expert suppliers into biodiesel or cleaning products.

Chicken McNuggets come in four specific shapes: the bell, the boot, the ball and the bone, and are offered with a variety of delicious dipping sauces. They are available in all restaurants in the region and can be purchased in quantities of six, ten or even twenty pieces.
