We Celebrate a Decade of Open Doors: A Kitchen Tour Inspiring Through Quality
In honor of Information Transparency Day, we proudly mark ten years of our “Open Doors” initiative. This unique tour allows customers to get an inside look at what makes the McDonald’s menu world-renowned.
Through a short, engaging 15-minute tour, visitors can experience firsthand the quality of our ingredients, our strict food safety procedures, and our commitment to sustainability. Transparency is a core value for us, and we are delighted to share it with anyone interested in learning more about what we do. This initiative, a standout in the industry, offers direct access to detailed information about our processes, products, and long-standing commitment to quality, inspiring everyone to adopt better practices in their own kitchens.
At the end of the tour, visitors can ask questions to the “Customer Experience Leader” guiding them, and participate in a survey to provide feedback, which helps us enhance the experience each year. Since October 2022, over 95,000 people have completed the survey, with glowing responses — more than 96% of participants rate the quality of our products as “very good” or “excellent,” and 97% report a significantly improved perception of our brand after the tour.
To join this special tour, customers can simply request it at any McDonald’s restaurant in the region by speaking to the Experience Leader or Restaurant Manager during off-peak hours.
